Terms & Conditions

Booking Fee

To secure your date a non-refundable deposit of £300 is required upon confirmation of your wedding or event booking. This is to be paid via bank transfer. The deposit is subtracted from your final wedding flower invoice. If for some reason you need to rearrange your date, the deposit is transferrable to a new date if Darling Buds of KJ is available.

Quotation & Payment

Prices listed within the quote will remain valid for 14 days from the date sent to you. Your quote is a guide price. We reserved the right to change the price to reflect the market cost of flowers at the time of ordering. Once the initial quotation has been given and the booking fee paid, the total cannot be reduced by more than 20%. The final balance is required to be paid in full no later than 30 days before the wedding date. The accepted method of payment is by BACS transfer. If payment is not received Darling Buds of KJ reserve the right to terminate this agreement without further notice.  

Flower availability

As fresh flowers are a natural product, they can vary in size and colour and occasionally, a specific flower type can become unavailable. We make every effort to source the product, however, sometimes we are unable to. In this case we reserve the right to substitute one flower type for another and use a flower that is as similar as possible. All fresh flowers are subject to availability.


Cancellations must be made in writing. Once your date has been confirmed with Darling Buds of KJ, we may have to turn down our services for other weddings and events. Therefore, charges are payable:

Cancellations over 6 months prior to the wedding/event date – a cancellation fee of £200 is charged.

Cancellations 3-6 months prior to date – 50% of balance is required.

Cancellations 1-3 months prior to date – 75% of balance is required.

Cancellations up to 1 month prior to date – 100% of balance is required.

Cancellations after your final balance has been paid are non-refundable.

Hire Items

If hiring any of our items, we will require a security deposit along with the final payment. This will be returned to you when all hired items are returned in good condition. If any items are missing or damaged, the value will be deducted from the security deposit. If any hire items are lost, stolen or damaged by either wedding guests or your venue staff you will still be liable for damages. All items hired from Darling Buds of KJ will be collected the following day.


Darling Buds of KJ do not take responsibility for injuries or damages caused by hire items or items which have broken.

Darling Buds of KJ does not accept any responsibility for any damage caused by flames or lit candles once we have left.

Delivery & Set Up

Wedding flowers shall be delivered to a maximum of three addresses. The cost for delivery and set up of each wedding will depend on the location of the wedding venue. It is the responsibility of the client to provide us with the correct delivery locations and to ensure that the venue/church is open for Darling Buds of KJ to set up. We will not take responsibility of lateness caused by an incorrect address or no one present to receive delivery.

We are happy to add flowers to the cake, however we do not take any responsibility for any damage to icing. We will always discuss this with your chosen baker.

Photography & Social Media

Darling Buds of KJ reserve the right to use photos of the flowers and set up at the venue to use for our own promotional purposes.


Any complaints must be made within 24 hours with photographic evidence. No responsibility can be taken by Darling Buds of KJ in terms of poor condition once the flowers have been approved.

Darling Buds of KJ are the sole external supplier of flowers.

Terms and conditions may be updated at any time; however, you will be notified of any major changes. By agreeing to your quote and paying the booking fee you are accepting these terms and conditions and any changes that may be made.
